Patci came to stay with me for a summer and quickly gained her championship. Patci was a very sound, medium sized bitch and such a lovely dark mahogany sable colour.
Patci was full of the joys of life and she produced some outstanding puppies. She easily obtained her R.O.M.C. What a girl. She shows up in quite a few pedigrees of some very outstanding dogs.

Ch. Animato Annacott Nakiska, known as Kiska, obtained his championship in only a few weeks of showing. One of the highlights of his career, which he won while he was still a puppy, was Best of Winners at the Papillon Fancier's Guild of Alberta.

Ch. Annacott Alines Show Stopper is a lovely mahogany sable and white dog. He is quite small, being around 9", but he loves the show ring and moves along as if he owns the ring. Simon went to his first shows in Saskatoon where he went Winners dog all three days for 6 points. A month later he finished his title and went back to back best puppy in Group the same week-end. Simon is now with his new owners - Carla and Tegan Wilson and enjoying his new home and family.

"Smudgie", yes a funny name for a little dog but that is what my daughter called him and it has stuck with him!! He is the last of the litter to obtain his title. He was not really into the show scene like his siter and brother, who thought it was all great fun - Smudgie thinks chasing his ball up and down the hallway and around the room is great fun. He still keeps his owners hopping as he does not like to ever stop this activity.

Brittany was a lovely 9 1/4" dog who on her visit to the US National in 1999 won her drop eared class and was third in the puppy sweep stakes in a class with over 30 puppies. She had such a kind attitude.

"Angel" is known as being Attitude in Action. She obtained her championship in a couple of weekends of showing. To finish her title, she went Winner's Bitch at the Canadian National Specialty while she was still a junior puppy. At her next show she went Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Group. Angel now spends her days keeping Joan organized - she likes to think she is Lady in Charge! Angel is a dog that is real joy to own and she has passed on so much of herself in her son Am/Can Ch Annacott Maestro.

Gabriella finished her Canadian championship in great style by going Best of Winners at her last show. She was a beautiful 9 1/2" dog with huge ears and tons of fringes. Gabie was known here as the "head dog" as she loved to lie on the couch behind our heads and rest her head on any human head that was available!!

Genie came back to me when she was four years old and I decided to try and get her title. So she and I went out and had some fun - amazing really as her life had its ups and downs - one of the downs being that she was severely chewed up by a large dog. But this did not interfere with her - once she had grown her coat back after being completely shaven down so she could be stitched up - she went in and strutted her stuff. She has since had a litter of pups and produced Ch. Annacott Rumour Has It - another lovely phalene. Genie shared the last years of her life with friends in Northern Alberta.

Indie won Best in Sweepstakes at the Canadian National on July 31, 2003. Indie also made the cut for the Best of Breed award. We are very proud of her.

Jiminy is a lovely black and white little guy and I hope he keeps those ears down!! He will be shown to select judges in 2003. Jiminy was placed with Deb and is her wonderful companion. She did let me have him for a couple of shows and he did go winners for a few points. At the Papillon Canada National he won his puppy sweepstakes class. He is a lovely dog, kind and smart.

Jitterbug is so like his sire in attitude and looks and should be a lot of fun to show. He is a bright red sable and white with a black mask. Jitterbug went out to the shows for one week-end and finished his title. He finished with his 10 points that week-end from the puppy class. Quite an achievment for such a young dog.

Legacy is a sweet little sable and white girl. She is the loving one out of the two litter sisters. She will snuggle into me and fall fast asleep with all 4 legs up in the air. She is very petite but still has an appetite for adventure and runs outside whenever she sees an open door.
Legacy obtained her title at the beginning of 2005 and went to live with her co-owner, Janene Burwash.

Maestro was a very lovely dog. His sire Cos (Ch. Apsara Cossack Dancer) won the Award of Merit at the Papillon Specialty. His dam Angel (Annacott Devil in Disguise) was Winners Bitch at the Canadian National Specialty to finish her title as a junior puppy. Maestro obtianed his Canadian championship while still a junior puppy. He finished with back to back Best of Winners for a 3 points and 4 points win. He then went to the States and finished his title with some huge wins. He sired some lovely puppies.
A very sad day when Maestro passed away.

"Magic" - well his name says it all. To see him move is absolutely Magic. I have been around papillons for well over 30 years and can say I have never seen a papillon move like him. He has so much reach and drive - he is beautiful to watch!! He is like smooth silk when he is "on the go around"! He is quite the character - keeps Louann and David busy. He would walk for 50 miles and not tire. And he loves absolutely everyone - an unending love machine.

I saw Cos for the first time at end of October/2003 in Abbotsford, British Columbia and instantly fell in love with him. He is everything I look for in a papillon - elegance, soundness and attitude. Needless to say, I now co-own him. He came to stay with me that November. He finshed his championship in 2 week-ends of showing and he was only seven months old. He went back to back BOW for 2 sets of 4 point majors to finish his title in "grand style". He is quite a busy little dog and even has the audacity to challenge the alpha dog - Ch. Animato Annacott Nakiska!!! He has been siring some lovely puppies.

Halo is a wonderful dog, a dog of my dreams. He was bred by Marion Sloan in Ireland and from the day of his birth I awaited, with such hopes, this little puppy's arrival in Canada. Well, finally Halo arrived in January and he and I formed a mutual admiration society. He follows me everywhere. When he entered the show ring, it felt as if he finished his title before we even got started!! In 2005 he has been shown 5 times in Canada, to date, and against the strongest competition has twice gone Best of Breed and a Group 2nd placement.
Halo also went with me down to the Specialty in Seattle and did really well in the open class, placing all 3 times shown in a very strong class and going Reserve Winners on the Saturday. What a dog, what a loving companion.
Halo has some outstanding puppies awaiting their turn in the ring!!
Halo is a dog with great elegance as he has a lovely outline with superb neck and a nice length of leg which makes him a joy to watch on the move!!

Mhairhi was such an elegant phalène and a joy to own. She was often getting herself into trouble such as one time she leapt in a fast flowing river and was quickly swept down stream. Only the quick thinking of Louann Hansen's husband, David, saved her. She was a joy to own and her death was devastating. I miss her still. I do have her three kids, Diva, Bailey and Brittany to help ease the loss and there is a bit of her in each of them. You know how special a dog is in your heart when the loss is almost unbearable.

Luna is a very pretty red sable and white, standing just over 9" high. She went down to the U.S. National in 2006 and was among the first few dogs in her sweeps class and won 4th place at the Regional Specialty, the day after the National. Luna picked up her first 9 points towards her Canadian Championship very quickly and then rested a few months to grow back coat. Her first time out after her 'hiatus" she finished her title.
Luna was bred by Mary Maher and is co-owned with Mary. Thank you Mary for sharing this lovely puppy with me.
